Bell family helmets - just in

Message par redplanet » Ven Mai 31, 2013 8:20 am

As one of many children in the family, Bell can appreciate the need for different styles for different family members. recently received three Bell lids for test: the new BMX style Segment, the cross-country/around-town Sequence and the child's Trigger.

The new Segment seems to have raised the bar a bit for BMX helmets, using a few pieces of EPS foam tied together with an interior skeleton underneath the otherwise solid shell. The idea is that the helmet can flex a bit and still meet ASTM safety standards. It comes in three sizes and nine styles. Suggested retail is US$55/£49 for the solid-color designs and US$60/£54 for graphics.

The Sequence is a general purpose helmet that could work for mountain biking or just riding around town.

Finally, the Trigger is Bell's least expensive youth helmet. The one-size-fits-most (50-57cm) helmet has plenty of vents and Bell's ErgoDial fit system. The company also has another, smaller category of kids helmets that comes in extra-small (46-50cm) and small (50-54cm). The Trigger is $35/£40.
